Tucson Real Estate Market Prices in May 2009

The median sold price for single family detached homes in Tucson was down 16% compared to May 2008. But although the median price went from $205,000 to $171,700, the number of properties sold during the month was actually at the highest point since last September. Scottsdale Housing Stats May 2009

Scottsdale, AZ continues to see a decline in the median price for single-family detached homes. A 23% decrease was seen when comparing April 2008 to April 2009. However, it was interesting that the number of sold homes in Scottsdale totaled 250 during the month of April. This is the highest closed sales activity we've seen since August.
